Frequently Asked Questions
How does booking appointments work?
Appointments are booked online, over the phone or in person.
At Ease Physio cancellation and no show policy
Your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you. At Ease Physio requires 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule your appointment. This allows another person to book your time. Up to 24 hours before your appointment you can cancel or reschedule on Jane app. Within 24 hours of the appointment contact the clinic directly by phone or text at 604-923-8323 or by emailing info@ateasephysio.ca. Social media or other online accounts are not checked regularly and will not be accepted as means of cancelling or rescheduling appointments.
Cancellations received with less than 24 hours notice will be billed for half the cost of the appointment the first time, and the full cost of the appointment thereafter. No shows will be billed for the full appointment. Thank you for your consideration and understanding.
How many appointments should I book?
Your first visit will be 55 minutes. It is also recommended to book 2-3 follow-up appointments 2-3 weeks apart to ensure you get your preferred appointment times. You can choose the length of your follow-ups, and recommendations for follow-up length can be given at your first visit.

Please share the booking link or have the patient reach out directly for a consultation.
What is the policy on COVID-19, masks and other respiratory illnesses?
Wearing a mask is optional of your appointment.
Because of physiotherapy's up-close nature, our team may wear a mask during your appointment. An air filter will be running in the treatment room at all times. If you are unwell and have a productive cough, fever and lethargy, reschedule your appointment for another day. Your body will respond much better to treatment when feeling well.
There is no charge for cancellations in under 24 hours due to illness, but notice of cancellation must be received before the appointment start time to avoid a no-show fee.
What should I wear to my appointment?
It is recommended to wear loose comfortable clothing you can move in and move to the side for treatment of the area. For hands on treatments you can undress to your comfort level at the appointment and appropriate draping is provided to keep you covered. Tight jeans, belts, underwire bras, belts are not recommended as these can place their own tensions on the body and can interfere with assessment and treatment.
